Power Generation from Coal, Oil, Gas, and Biofuels

Coal continues to be primarily used, at %, for electricity production and commercial heat. However, in OECD countries, the share of electricity and heat produced from primary coal as a fuel fell to % in 2018, down from % in 1985.
